The Lollipop Tree Educational Playgroup was established in 1996 by Amanda Coetzer a qualified nurse. It is run from her home in Randpark Ridge for a maximum of 10 children between 18 months and 4 years. The times are 7am to 2pm. Aftercare is available till 5.30pm on request. Breakfast and a cooked healthy lunch is provided as well as refreshments.

An educational programme is offered that will stimulate and improve fine motor, gross motor, auditory and social skills of your little one. Potty training commences at age 2 years and is based on patience, caring and understanding of each childs development pace. A large safe playground is enjoyed by the children as well as a classroom where they enjoy inside play, art fun and class work. Little ones learn from older ones and older ones learn patience and care of younger children. Together all ages are benificial to each other and prepare the child for pre school and the greater world out there.

The play school is small enough to feel like a home away from home and your child will not feel intimidated or overwhelmed as they may at a larger nursery school. Children with special needs will be considered.
