Choosing a Hospital
There are a number of factors to take into account when you choose a hospital. For example, the distance from your house to the hospital, whether you have got a medical aid and whether they are presciptive in the hospital that you are allowed to use.
You must remember to inform your medical aid of your due date and to get authorization from them well in advance. Nowadays you can also go and visit the maternity ward before you decide on a hospital or clinic to see whether you are comfortable with the setup there. Most hopitals and clinics will provide you with their own list of items that you need to bring along as well.
